Data We Collect

We collect minimal data to operate the service:

  • Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name via our authentication provider (WorkOS). This is necessary to provide the service.
  • Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or payment credentials on our servers.
  • Usage analytics: Anonymous page views and feature usage via Vercel Analytics. No personal data is included.
  • Error logs: Anonymous error reports to help us fix bugs. These do not contain your financial data.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data under the following legal bases (UK GDPR Article 6):

  • Contract performance: Account and payment data is processed to provide the service you have subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interests: Anonymous analytics and error logs help us maintain and improve the service. This processing is minimal and does not involve personal or financial data.

Your Financial Documents

When you upload bank statements for extraction, you process them locally in your browser. Your documents are not sent to our servers, stored remotely, or used for any other purpose.

  • Documents are processed entirely in your browser using client-side code.
  • No financial data is transmitted to our servers.
  • Extracted data remains in your browser until you choose to export it.

No Training on Your Data

Your documents and extracted data are never used to train AI models or improve our algorithms. Your financial information belongs to you.

Data Retention

Financial documents are processed locally in your browser and are never stored on our servers. Close the browser tab or clear your browser storage at any time to remove all local data.

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon request or account closure.
  • Payment records: Retained by Stripe as required by financial regulations. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.
  • Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated, and not linked to your identity.

Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Theme preference: Stores your light/dark mode choice. Essential, first-party.
  • Authentication session: Maintains your login session. Essential, first-party (set via WorkOS).

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Third-Party Services

We share limited data with the following providers to operate the service:

  • Vercel: Hosting and anonymous analytics. See Vercel's privacy policy.
  • WorkOS: Authentication and account management. Receives your email address and name when you sign in. See WorkOS's privacy policy.
  • Stripe: Payment processing. Receives payment details when you subscribe. We do not see or store your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.

No financial document data is shared with any third party. Document processing is entirely client-side.

International Transfers

Some of our third-party providers (Vercel, WorkOS, Stripe) may process data outside the UK. These providers maintain appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent protections to ensure your data remains protected in accordance with UK GDPR.
